Peter Gric studied at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts, and in the early 90's began using CG for his paintings, blocking them out in 3D then translating that into paint.
He morphs architectural elements with cyborgs and the human form.

This painting features two forms, stood in a white space, illuminated from behind the male figure. Both figures are stood staring towards each other, their faces, and ears linked together by a series of inter woven, highly detailed tubes and wires, connecting from each of the five senses, the eyes for sight, the ears for hearing, the mouth for taste, the noses for smell, and i think the nipples for touch.
The composition is interesting, with the tubes and sharp outlines of the body guiding the eye around the image in a circular motion, letting the viewer soak in all the detail. The image consists of a muted colour palette of oranges and very pale blues in the shadows, giving it a striking appearance. The skin colour isn't natural and makes the figures seem more mechanical, complimenting the wires and cables running between the figures.
